An Indian Army Jawan and two civilians killed ceasefire violation by Pakistan
An Indian Army soldier and two civilians were killed today in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir. Army Jawan, Mandeep Singh, killed in the ceasefire violation today was a resident of Alampur village in Sangrur, Punjab.
A Border Security Force officer said that it is the third consecutive day that Pakistan has violated ceasefire. Nine persons reported dead so far in these three days due to ceasefire violation. These nine persons include 5 civilians and 4 soldiers. Pakistan is targeting civilian villages to cause death and destruction.
Officials said 8000 to 9000 people living along the International Border migrated to safer places. Over 1000 people housed in camps in Samba, R S Pura and Katua areas. Because of the increased tension along Indo-Pak border officials said that Educational Institutes along the IB and LoC will remain closed for next three days.
The officer said Pakistan was targeting civilian village to cause destruction and added that the Border Security Forces was giving them the befitting reply.
