PM Modi’s Agenda for next election
Criticizing Gandhi family and past Congress faults seem like the only agenda remained for Narendra Modi. Modi spoke for hours in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. He speech was centred around criticizing Gandhi family and the problematic history of Congress.
The central theme for BJP to attract voters will be Congress corruption issue only. As BJP government was unable to accomplish anything in past four years they will ask public for a second chance. Will it be given or not that’s totally a different story.
With the completion of four years in the office, Modi government is unable to showcase any of his work to the public as it was promised. He created a mountain of promises before 2014 elections but couldn’t deliver anything so far. The corruption issue which he used to win the election solely would not be going to work this time.
Modi government promised to send Robert Vadra to jail within a month after coming in power doesn’t seem to be happening even after four years of governance. Vijay Mallya and Lalit Modi managed to escape. Even their own Rafale deal has caused a controversy.
As a part of his political tactics, Modi will maintain his strategic silence on ‘gau rakshaks’ killing innocents and hate speeches in the parliament by BJP MP’s. Take an example of Bajrang Dal founder and BJP Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Katiyar. He made controversy by asking Muslims living in India to go to Pakistan or Bangladesh. Again, he made another controversy with his statement on Taj Mahal, saying Taj Mahal should be demolished.
Modi obviously couldn’t deliver anything as it was promised and most of the government policies failed drastically. Considering the example of Demonetization, Aadhar data leak, and so many more. Modi 2019 election strategy is going to target Congress and Gandhi family. The opposition has already realised this as at the time Modi was supposed to answer the question, what he was doing is pointing the faults in Congress government and raising past corruption issues.
Now, at last, it is up to the voters if they fall to the same BJP election strategy again.
